Working closely with the client, we translated the landscape and history of Paradise into a practical identity for the new adventure experience.

Case study

Paradise is one of New Zealand’s oldest settlements, at the far end of Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown.

The client brought a clear view of the landscape elements the identity needed to represent: mountains, river and a silhouette.

Together, we incorporated a Māori koru, or fern form, to reflect the native bush and selected typography that referenced the settlement’s heritage.
